📌 Product Overview
Consistent Braking. Zero Manual Adjustment.
As brake linings wear down, the gap between the shoe and the drum increases, leading to dangerous lag times and reduced stopping power. Victory Technology’s Automatic Slack Adjuster (ASA) solves this by automatically sensing and compensating for wear during every brake application.
Engineered in our Zhuji Aoke facility, our adjusters replace the need for frequent manual under-truck adjustments. Built with a High-Strength Forged Steel Arm and a precision-machined worm gear, they maintain a constant shoe-to-drum clearance, ensuring your fleet remains compliant with DOT FMVSS 121 safety regulations while reducing maintenance downtime.
🔹 Why Choose Victory Automatic Slack Adjusters?
- ✅ Automatic Wear Compensation:Safety is automated. The internal mechanism detects excess stroke caused by lining wear and micro-adjusts the camshaft.2 This ensures optimum braking force is always available, improving vehicle stability and shortening stopping distances.
- ✅ Heavy-Duty Forged Construction:Castings can crack; forgings endure. Our adjuster arms are Forged from High-Grade Steel to withstand the immense torque and vibration of sudden stops. The internal worm gear is heat-treated for maximum fatigue resistance.3
- ✅ Universal Compatibility (OEM Styles):We manufacture adjusters to fit all major industry standards, including Meritor, Haldex, Bendix, and Gunite styles. Whether you need a standard 28-Spline or a specialized 10-Spline or 37-Spline, we have the fitment.
- ✅ Sealed & Lubricated:Designed for the long haul. Our units feature high-quality seals to prevent road grime, salt, and moisture from corroding the internal gears. They come pre-greased and are equipped with Zerk fittings for easy maintenance.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: How do I know which adjuster to order?
A: You need to know three things:
Spline Count: Count the teeth on the camshaft (usually 10, 28, or 37).5
Camshaft Diameter: Usually 1.5 inches.
Arm Length: Measure from the center of the camshaft hole to the center of the clevis pin hole (usually 5.5″ or 6″).
Q: Do these replace manual adjusters?
A: Yes. Upgrading from manual to automatic adjusters is a common safety upgrade. It greatly reduces the labor time required for brake maintenance.
Q: Are they “Stroke Sensing” or “Clearance Sensing”?
A: We offer both styles. Meritor-style is typically stroke sensing, while Haldex-style is clearance sensing.6 Please specify your preference when ordering.
