Coiled Nylon Air Hoses (Suzi Coils)

Heavy Duty Coiled Nylon Air Brake Hoses & Suzi Coils (DOT Approved)

Body Text: Say goodbye to sagging lines and dangerous tangles. Victory Technology’s Coiled Nylon Air Hoses (industry-known as “Suzi Coils”) are engineered to keep your deck plate clean and your connection secure.

Unlike cheap generic coils that lose their shape after a few months, our assemblies are manufactured from 100% Virgin Nylon 12 (PA12). This premium material offers superior Recoil Memory, ensuring the coil snaps back tightly to its original shape every time you unhook.

The “Arctic Grade” Difference: Trucking doesn’t stop for winter. Our coils are rated for -40°F (-40°C) performance, remaining flexible and crack-resistant even in the most freezing conditions.

✅ Complete Range: Available in Red (Emergency) and Blue (Service) sets.

✅ Standard & Custom: Stocking 12ft, 15ft, and 20ft working lengths. Custom “Long Tail” (Pigtail) options available.

✅ DOT Compliant: Fully tested to meet SAE J844 and FMVSS 106 standards.

Frequently Asked Questions About Suzi Coils

1. Why use PA12 Nylon instead of PU for air brake coils?

Safety. While Polyurethane (PU) is more flexible, it does not meet the high-pressure and heat resistance requirements for DOT air brake systems. PA12 Nylon is the only material that provides the necessary burst strength (950+ PSI) and chemical resistance required by SAE J844 standards for safe highway braking.

2. What is “Recoil Memory” and why does it matter?

“Recoil Memory” is the coil’s ability to retract back to its tight spiral shape after being stretched. Poor quality coils lose this memory and start to sag (droop) onto the truck’s catwalk, where they can snag or chafe. Victory Technology uses heat-treated Virgin Nylon to ensure long-lasting memory.

3. Do these coils come with fittings?

Yes. All our coiled assemblies come pre-plumbed with heavy-duty Brass Fittings (usually 1/2″ NPT). They also feature heavy-gauge Spring Guards (plated steel) at both ends to protect the tubing from kinking at the connection point.

4. What length coil do I need for my truck?

12ft: Standard for day cabs or trucks with a short distance between the cab and trailer.

15ft: The most common “standard” size for sleeper cabs and standard sliding fifth wheels.

20ft: Required for trucks with extended sliding fifth wheels or specialized long-haul setups.

5. Can I get custom pigtail (tail) lengths?

Absolutely. As a factory-direct supplier, we can manufacture coils with Extended Pigtails (e.g., 40-inch straight leads) for easier gladhand connection. [Contact Us] for custom OEM orders.
